Sean CunninghamA graduate of Princeton University and Yale Drama School (where he received the Cole Porter Prize), Sean Cunningham’s plays include the Drama Desk-nominated GOD HATES THE IRISH (“Theater as it should be: daring, subversive, and violently funny”—Mike Nichols), SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE SECRET OF MAKING WHOOPEE (“In the best of bad taste”—The New York Times), and SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE SECRET OF MAKING WHOOPEE II: THE HOUDINI INCIDENT (named “Best Sequel” by Time Out New York). His latest work is THE PEOPLE'S PIMPLE, the tale of Chairman Mao and the zit that nearly took his life.

He wrote the screenplay NELIE for Onnam Productions and is an editor at noted literary journal Maxim magazine, where his duties have included everything from investigating serial killers to creating obscene crossword puzzles. He has interviewed people ranging from boxing champ Oscar De La Hoya to Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge, as well as hordes of Soprano cast members. He also writes for esquire.com and film journal reverseshot.com and has appeared on dozens of TV and radio programs, including ABC News Now and Fox News Channel (his mother was very proud).
